Did I just go back in time?

I read this story this morning, and I thought that I might have gone back to 1967 without realizing it. But no, I read it on the internet, so signs are pointing to it still being 2007.

Seriously, doesn't this blow your mind? A high school in Georgia is having their first non-segregated prom ever. This is why people make fun of the South.
